TRAINING
OF TRAINERS AND MANAGEMENT OF TRAINING (TTMT)
This
program improves the participant's presentation and training program
development skills. It also enhances often overlooked managerial
skills needed to implement training most effectively. The program
is broadly useful as many managers and persons promoted into supervisory
positions are expected to take on important training responsibilities.
Key
skills: designing training to promote organizational strategic
goals, establishing learning objectives, task analysis, training
module design and scheduling
PROJECT
MANAGEMENT AND EVALUATION (PME)
Development
efforts are often most effectively carried out as projects. This
program helps participants identify appropriate circumstances for
project development, develop appropriate plans of action and apply
various project management tools.
Key skills: needs analysis; feasibility and sustainability
testing; setting objectives; selection and application of appropriate
tools such as Gantt charting, PERT, Critical Path Method, budgeting,
monitoring and evaluation.

MANAGEMENT
AND LEADERSHIP IN EDUCATION (MLE)
The
MLE program focuses on the concerns of senior education administrators
and combines seminar discussions and problems solving with institutional
visits. Focus is given to the special needs of upper level education
administrators in working more effectively with the school system,
the community and the government.
Key skills: providing vision for educational institutions,
responding to stakeholder demands, benchmarking, implementing a
"best practices" approach with continuous improvement.
The
GEM Series (Generating Excellence in Management)
These
one- to three-day programs focus intensively on key aspects of the
LMS program.
Key skills: conflict management, dealing with difficult people,
listening skills, constructive feedback
